Premium Sound System Dynaudio

This Volvo Premium Sound system is a landmark in automotive audio, specially designed for the acoustics in your Volvo. It's the result of an intimate and lasting collaboration between Volvo's diligent audiophiles and those of the Danish loudspeaker specialist Dynaudio, and Dolby Laboratories. The D-class digital amplifier generates 650 watts of music in total. The Dolby® Surround Pro Logic® II surround sound, with its center loudspeaker and sound processor, recreates music that's equally authentic wherever you're seated.There are 12 Dynaudio loudspeakers each with its own filter to coordinate with the others – a technology that is relatively new in car audio. There are three separate speakers – woofer, tweeter and mid-range – in each front door, and in the rear doors a similar set-up with tweeter and woofer/mid-range. The center speaker in the dash is the central nerve of the surround system, conducting the surround sound experience.
